The Artist's Studio
Every artist needs a good studio and thanks to a certain two someones, a.k.a. Granny and Grandpa, our little artist received some important supplies for her birthday. She is now set up with an easel, paints and her own smock. Her is painting studio is now complete! And, now she asks to paint every day. EVERY. DAY.

#2
Our little sweetheart is two! We can't even believe how fast these two years have flown by. Kate is now a full-blown toddler with everything that goes along with it. One minute, she is cracking us up with her crazy talk and then the next minute, she's making us pull our hair out with her crazy demands. But, either way, she brings such joy and love to our lives, we can't imagine these past two years without her.
We celebrated with a little party for friends and family, here is the much awaited photographic evidence.

The County Fair
We had the fine opportunity last weekend to partake in the happenings of the Dodge County Fair in Scribner. And thus begins Kate's love affair with all things "fair" related. Parades, the barrel train, the carousel, pigs, chickens, baby chicks, sheep, cows and let's not forget the most important of them all, her favorite person ever, Alex.

Crazytalk
When Kate gets really tired, she sort-of slips into this certain level of crazy that really can't be described. It's like her brain is going to explode. She talks a mile a minute about whatever is on her mind.
Last night, as we drove home from the county fair after a fun, but long day, we heard these snippets of conversation from the backseat.
"I need Papa."
"I need Alex."
"I need peanut butter."
"I need a peep peep."
"Quack quack seat back."
"See ya ladle mommy."
"Uncle Don has a whale."
"Great Grandma see a penguin dive in the water."
"Bingo was his name-o."
"Eat a cracker, moose!"
"Mommy has eyeballs."
"Daddy has eyeballs."
"Boat, come back!"
Kate: "Mommy! It's stuck." Me: "What's stuck Kate?" Kate: "This toe! I can't pull it off!"
"A, B, C, D, E, F...puppies."
